BioAge has developed a very innovative electronic circuits printed directly on plastics substrate. The direct integration of electronic circuitry on critical three-dimensional surfaces as a Fiat 500x glove box is a key enabling technologies for the future innovative applications. This electronics has been developed, designed and realized by BioAge within the APPOLO FP7 European Research Project with the purpose not only to get benefits in weight and cabling reduction which are strictly related to the reduction of the CO2 emission through a general fuel consumption, but they will also have additional functionalities getting benefices to interior perceived quality.
The circuit printed by BioAge on FIAT 500X GLOVE BOX by pad printing, using silver conductive ink, it has a function of actuator for the glove box using a capacity button effect. This is the first one of a largest quantity of the electronic circuits that can be realized on plastics. In all case BioAge as electronics company is able, not only to design the electronic layout using a specifics cad, electronic and mechanical cad, but also it is able to realize the first prototype in his laboratory.
