G-Mix 3CH: Complete System for Creating Gas Mixtures
G-MIX is a highly versatile integrated system that can easily create countless gas mixtures. Gas flows are precisely controlled by three Mass Flow Controllers (MFCs), each storing calibration tables for 10 different gases. The entire hydraulic system, including tubing, fittings, and valves, is constructed with AISI316 stainless steel, using the best solutions available for this type of application. The stoichiometric composition of the gas mixture can be easily managed through BioAge’s software, with a simple and intuitive interface that can be installed on a standard PC, communicating with G-MIX via USB.
The system can also operate in Stand-Alone mode without a PC connection, thanks to the easy-to-use LCD display on each MFC, allowing gas parameters to be set directly through the intuitive keypad on the MFC.
G-MIX is ideal for creating well-controlled, known gas compositions used in chemical laboratories, for sensor and transducer calibration, or as a calibration tool for chemical films. The G-MIX system is extremely compact, housed in a robust satin aluminum case with a transparent polycarbonate front panel, all illuminated with high-intensity LEDs for an appealing visual impact.

G-MIX is a versatile system equipped with two valves and a precisely designed hydraulic setup suitable for a wide range of experiments. It consists of one main line for “active” gases and two lines for “carrier” gases. Additionally, one of these carrier lines can be connected to an external hydraulic setup to create a saturated vapor of a chemical solution, which can then be mixed with a gas mixture.
The software provided with the G-MIX 3CH is highly intuitive and easy to use, running on MS-Windows™. With USB connectivity, it is straightforward to operate and includes useful features like automatic recognition of the computer port to which the instrument is connected. It also provides users with an easy way to set parameters on each MFC, allowing them to select the type of gas, the quantity desired, and the preferred unit of measurement.
