Description

The Micro Smart System is one of the many ultra-low-power autonomous systems designed by BioAge. This system operates independently with very low energy consumption thanks to its “Energy Harvesting” function, which allows it to be powered by a micro solar panel included with each sensor. Additionally, these systems are equipped with radio frequency communication, enabling the transmission of acquired data over distances, making it possible to create a network of sensors that operate autonomously with high longevity thanks to solar power.

The system illustrated uses temperature sensors capable of recording temperature every 30 seconds and transmitting data up to 200 meters at a frequency of 433.92 MHz. It also includes a receiver that can collect temperature data from 10 different sensors, each identified by a unique code, and provide the user with information about each sensor. The receiver features a bright touchscreen display for navigating through various interfaces.

The system comes with software developed entirely by BioAge, which not only displays the acquired temperature data but also allows users to monitor a specific sensor and set a temperature threshold. If this limit is exceeded, the system alerts the user with visual and audio feedback. A USB port is also available for charging the receiver’s battery and downloading the complete temperature history of a specific sensor to a PC.

BioAge can develop various types of sensors based on client needs, offering different types of data acquisition. Additionally, BioAge can customize the system to operate on different transmission frequencies according to customer requirements.
